Frontier Lodge is imbued with 60 years of irreplaceable Northern Canadian character. But some things need to change around here – like the sofas, chairs and shower stalls – to name a few!

We’re excited to be evolving with our new ownership to better reflect local Dene culture and a renewed commitment to northern Canadian hospitality. We’re making some welcome refurbishments to ensure your total comfort and safety, and a few more to ramp up the style a few notches.

MAIN LODGE, DINING ROOM, AND BAR LOUNGE

When your day on the water or the land has ended, come on home to the Lodge. Relax with midnight ‘sundowners’ on the main lodge or bar deck and enjoy locally-inspired comfort food in our dining room – no doubt followed by plenty of ‘giant’ tales and stories around the new campfire with your favourite beverage.

Special guests will join us with music and storytelling after dinner throughout the summer. The main lodge is an intimate place to hang out with a few friends; or wander over to the Bar Lounge for cards, drinks, music and amazing westward views over the lake of the sunsets that never seem to end.

At Frontier Fishing Lodge, the premier Canada fishing resort, you found it. We’re renowned for our fantastic meals. Visitors from all over the world tell us it’s as good as anything offered in many fine restaurants. We even fly in fresh fruit and vegetables.
